What are the admission requirements for DUSOM?
The admission requirements for DUSOM are as follows:
- Ability to read and write fluently
- Being a practicing Christian, born again
- Completion of DUNAMIS Foundation and Maturity Courses (for DUNAMIS members)
- Recognition as a worker from a Bible-believing church (for non-DUNAMIS members)
- Letter of recommendation from the pastor of the church (for non-DUNAMIS members)
- Purchase and submission of the admission form
- Attendance of the induction exercise
- Successful completion of an admission interview
- Medically and mentally sound and fit
How many academic sessions does DUSOM run in a year?
DUSOM runs two academic sessions in a year. The first session is from January to June, and the second session is from July to December.
What are the days and time of classes for full-time and part-time students?
- Full-time classes: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Part-time classes: Thursday and Friday, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Is there a practical ministry experience component for students?
Yes, there is a practical ministry experience component for students. They are required to have a two-week practicum with a DUNAMIS branch in Abuja or any department at the headquarters. During this time, they will understudy the pastor or Head of Department and write an evaluation report.
Can foreign students apply to DUSOM?
Yes, foreign students can apply to DUSOM provided they meet the admission requirements into the school.
They should have permission to reside in Nigeria or the country of study and a study permit if necessary.
Foreign students are responsible for their accommodation and living expenses while studying at DUSOM.
